Left untreated, DVT can lead to pulmonary embolism (PE), Venous Thrombo Embolism (VTE) all potentially life threatening conditions. Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (IPC) devices are used to help prevent blood clots in the deep veins of the legs. 

 

De Thromb is an Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (IPC) pump that non-invasively increases blood circulation in the limbs of the body. Cuffs wrap the legs or foot and attach to DVT pump that provides pressure to the limb. This pressure improves blood flow to decrease the risk of VTE (Venous Thrombo Embolism).
